Fester is a revision of my piece Repulsion. It explores more abstract internal conflicts, like germaphobia and premenstrual dysphoric disorder, that may otherwise be difficult to conceptualize from an outside perspective. I want the viewer to be both disgusted by this piece, but also drawn in by the grotesque imagery.
